Reflections is a on-going  series born out of a deeply personal journeyone of healing, reclaiming my body, and coming to terms with my PTSD after years of abuse. Photography became a way to explore, express, and reconnect with myself. This series is a meditation on that process, told through still-life compositions that mirror the layers of transformation, grief, anger, resilience, determination, hope and self-acceptance.

Part One

Reflections: An Unveiling

In a world where appearances often overshadow authenticity, Reflections: An Unveiling invites viewers to explore the transformative journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth. This photography series tells a deeply personal story of uncovering worthiness, reclaiming power, and embracing the raw emotions that shape us.

The series captures the roller coaster of transformation moments of clarity, breakdown, and breakthrough while reflecting on the idea that true change begins within. Central to the work is the concept of masks: the roles we play and the personas we project. These masks can both protect and obscure, acting as barriers to fully understanding and accepting our true selves.

These are Still Life images. I created each shot in-camera using traditional methods of lighting, mirrors, angles. Being hands-on is part of the process and catharsis for me.
